I have always wanted to take my brand to Africa, I always felt that there was a huge gap in the market to fill. African women find it very hard when it comes to their beauty needs. It is most of the time products of very poor quality and I always believed they deserve the best of black beauty.

Our first pop up was held in Brazzaville in Congo at the 5 star Hotel Elbo suites and organised by our partner Assiaba Group. We have brought with us some hair extensions such as Lace wigs, Indonesian hair, Indian hair, kinky ponytails, hair bundles, some hair care for afro hair and some skin care too ( list brands Nguvu, uhuru, 456skin, Byuti mane and many more)

Women have loved the collection of hair extensions and black haircare that we have brought for them. We sold out our coloured closure wigs as well as our ponytails.

There is a huge gap to fulfil in term of hair care and skincare and all the tools such as hair brushes, good straighteners etc…

The pop up was successful and we sold out a numerous products, women were so happy to see a London brand come to them and we are so glad for this.

We are planning for 2023 to do more pop ups! To a successful year for Mimi et Mina in Africa
